The Phoenix Gold Mine is an adventure for everyone in the family. The tours are interesting and fun, and the guides are friendly but professional.
Spend the day and hang out for awhile after your tour of the Phoenix Gold Mine and pan for gold, silver and other precious stones, metals and minerals, on our portion of Trail Creek. Panning just as the pioneers did, down stream from many mountain crevices and historical mines. The winter snow run off and spring rains help make panning at the Phoenix a true experience of history and great fun for today's rock hound!
If panning doesn't tickle your fancy, then go hiking in the mountains of Colorado – it's definitely a relaxing way to relieve the week's stress. Take the trail, up to the Little Albert Mine and the Kelly Mine. There is also a more strenuous hike above the Phoenix mine.
