There are all types of activities in Winter Park, Colorado. Rather you come to enjoy the area in the winter or in the summer; there are plenty of opportunities for enjoyable activities. In the winter, you can enjoy, of course, alpine skiing, but also available are scenic chairlift rides, snowshoe tours, snow cat tours, slope trackers and NASTAR racing. There are also free guided mountain orientation tours. In the summer, at Winter Park, you can find other various activities for the entire family. At Winter Park, you will find Colorado's longest alpine slide, or if you prefer riding down the mountain on two wheels, take your mountain bike for a chairlift ride up the mountain and cruise back down on your bike. Even without a bike, just a scenic chairlift ride is great fun. Other summer activities include mini-golf, a climbing wall, and plenty of trails for hiking.
