• Cross-Country Skiing
  Glide on Devil's Thumb Ranch's vast variety of groomed trails and then stop in at the coffee shop or Heck's Tavern for a hot chocolate afterwards.
• Dog Sled Rides
  Experience the thrill of being pulled on a sled by a team of dogs that will love every minute of it, via the only outfit in town that offers this type of adventure: Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park (located in Fraser).
• Hot Air Ballooning
  Set out to soar above the beauty of the Rockies in a hot air balloon via Grand Adventures Balloon Tours, piloted by an FAA commercial pilot; suitable for kids 4 and older.

  The Grand Park Community Center, which is open daily and to the public, has a heated pool that boasts a curvy sliding board and a lazy river! There's a climbing wall, dance studios, indoor track and other general workout facilities; child care is available.
• Movie Theater
  Catch the latest flicks and nosh on popcorn at Winter Park's only movie theater, the Silver Screen Cinema, located downtown.
• Shopping
  Saunter through the Winter Park Resort's Village, with its boutiques and restaurants, or browse the shops and grab a gelato at the Cooper Creek Square in downtown Winter Park.
• Skibiking
  Tour the Winter Park Ski Resort on this special bike built for snow, day or night. Contact the Resort for details.
• Sleigh Rides
  Ride in a large, pillow-lined sleigh that is horse-drawn on snowy trails at the Devil's Thumb Ranch, and for extra fun, ask for a 'brunch' ride, where they'll bring hay to feed the other horses.

  Strap on snowshoes and tour the trails at the Devil's Thumb Resort, the YMCA of the Rockies or the Grand Lake Touring Center. It's as easy as walking and great exercise for all ages! Bring your own or rent from any of these destinations.

  All ages enjoy soaking in the therapeutic hot springs at the Hot Sulphur Springs Resort; indoor and private pools are available, along with their wide variety of outdoor springs.
