Winter Park Colorado Events

 Evergreen Animal Protective League and Drive Smart are pleased to announce their first annual (non-timed) Barks & Belts 5K Walk/Run on June 3rd, 2012.  Dogs with current vaccines and that are leashed and dog-friendly are welcome! The race will start at 9AM in the mountains of Evergreen, CO at Bergen Village. The race will take place through picturesque Bergen Park, winding by the lakes by the Buchanan Recreation center.  At the start/finish line there will be music, food, vendors and available pets for adoption and much more!   "We are excited to make this an annual event in Evergreen and starting next year add timing to attract runners from all over the state and country for a gorgeous run in the foothills of Denver" said the event planning team.   "We have several events to raise money for our prospective non-profits through-out the year, "they continued, "and this is one of our favorites so far."  Registration and more information may be found at www.runningguru.com and www.barksandbelts5k.com.  Race Starts @9am  Event opens at 7:30 am
