Silver Creek Ski Resort

Silver Creek Ski Resort is beautifully perched in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Surrounding views are impressive, as the eye stretches out to the Continental Divide. The ski resort is ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all levels and abilities, and for those who enjoy open slopes with varied terrain.

Silver Creek Ski Resort is located in Grand County, Colorado's best-kept winter secret. Grand County is a beautiful area and offers a winter wonderland of activities throughout the snow-covered months. The resort is just 5 minutes outside of Granby, a charming town that offers cafes and restaurants, lodging, and shopping.

Composed of two separate, but interconnected mountains, Silver Creek is a beautifully designed ski resort. There are 33 designated trails, 30% beginner, 50% intermediate, and 20% advanced. The trails are spread over 251 acres of skiable terrain. The resort features an extensive children's program, adult alpine ski, Nordic ski and snowboard school. Full equipment rentals are available.

One of the best things about Silver Creek is its lack of lift lines. With 2 triple chairs, 1 double chair, 1 poma lift, and 1 surface lift, it is amazing that even in peak season the lift lines never require a wait in line. Likewise, the slopes were not crowded, making it easy for everyone to go at their own pace. The resort receives 220 inches of snow per season, with its base elevation of 8,202 feet and summit elevation of 9,202 feet – a vertical drop of 1,000 feet.

Silver Creek has lots of great lodging options, from trailside condominiums to authentic guest ranches throughout Grand County. Access to the resort is a beautiful 70-mile drive from Denver, and Amtrak provides service to the Granby area.
