Scenic and beautiful, Winter Park is the perfect winter mountain escape for singles, couples, families or friends. For those who are non-skiers or need a break from the slopes, there are activities and tour services to consider for scenic thrills. The scenic chairlift provides a great opportunity for those who do not ski to experience the mountain terrain as a "foot passenger". The chairlift ride is a 12-15 minute ride taking you from the base area altitude of 9,000 feet to the breathtaking Sunspot Summit at 10,700 feet.
SnowCat tours are also available. This sightseeing tour of Winter Park Mountain provides a heated comfortable ride in its 13-passenger snowcat. This two-hour tour travels across beginner, intermediate and expert trails, making several stops along the way for photos.
