High Country Stampede Rodeo Series
Called "the best little rodeo in Colorado," the High Country Stampede Rodeo Series is an exciting event that you can catch throughout the summer when you visit Winter Park. For more than 20 years, crowds of all ages have been thrilled by this classic event.
From July 3 through the end of August, the High Country Stampede Rodeo Series is the Saturday night event to attend. There is something for the whole family, with the evening's festivities kicking off with a western bbq and a junior rodeo for the rodeo's future stars. The main event attracts local and regional cowboys who compete in various rodeo sports in hopes of winning a share in a large cash purse, awarded at the end of the season. There to make sure you are entertained, are the fabulous rodeo clowns. Located just outside Fraser in the John Work Arena, the High Country Stampede Rodeo Series will be the highlight of any vacation.
