Ski Lift Tickets
Winter Park/Mary Jane daily lift tickets can be purchased once the 2010/2011 season starts, but discounted season passes and multi-day lift tickets are available right now via the Resort's website.
- Purchasing multi-day lift tickets on-line before the season starts is very cost effective if you're planning to ski consecutive days during the season.
- Once the season starts, lift tickets can be purchased at the Balcony House at the Winter Park Base, and at the ticket windows at Mary Jane's Base.
Overview
The Winter Park Ski Resort has a total of 25 lifts (two high-speed six-person lifts, four triple chairlifts, seven high-speed express quads, six double chairlifts, three surface lifts and three magic carpets), servicing a total of 143 designated trails. There are five interconnected mountains: Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Ridge and Vasquez Cirque, though the Cirque requires a skier or rider to hike almost a mile past the Panoramic Lift to access its expert terrain. All lifts throughout this entire resort accept one common lift ticket.
Location
Purchase lift tickets at the Balcony House ticket windows, located adjacent from the Zephyr Lift at the Winter Park Base, or at the ticket counter at the Mary Jane Base. Some Colorado retail centers carry discounted lift tickets as well, such as King Soopers. Discounted multi-day tickets are available for sale on the Winter Park Resort website; this is very cost effective if you're planning to ski for two or more consecutive days, and prices vary depending on number of days and in which season designation. Season passes are also available for sale on their website, with the best prices available until the season starts.

More Info
Snowmaking occurs before opening day, ensuring that there's snow through the beginning of the season if Mother Nature is not cooperating. Though only a few slopes may be skiable during their early season, the resort does have the ability to blanket 299 acres with snow, covering 26 trails.
